I was born in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico, and when I was two years old my parents immigrated to San José, California in search of a better life for our growing family. Looking back, it’s clear that God was guiding us from the very beginning. Shortly after we arrived, my parents experienced God’s pursuit in a profound way and responded with a heartfelt yes during a small prayer gathering.
Watching my parents actively use their gifts inspired me to explore missions, particularly through caring for children. Although I haven’t yet served overseas, I followed that calling by becoming a preschool teacher at Gateway Preschool Academy, where I taught for 14 years. Over time, I sensed another nudge from the Lord, this time toward leadership. That prompting opened the door for me to pursue a master’s degree in Global Leadership. All along that the Lord has been leading each step, and today I am grateful to serve as part of the children’s ministry team.
In my downtime, I enjoy exploring coffee shops, going for jogs, and unwinding through doodling.
I received a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Hispanic University, and a M.A. in Global Leadership from Crown College.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
