I was born in Northeast China and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior at the age of twelve. My parents were ministers who dedicated me to God when I was young, hoping I would serve Him. Over time, I sensed God’s call and leading to enter full-time ministry. God called me through a specific verse: 1 Corinthians 9:16—"For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!" I met my wife, Zhang Kuan, at my first seminary. After graduating, we served together at our home church, a Bible school, and a mission organization; our ministry included teaching, pastoral care, church planting, and training ministers. In 2016, I came to the United States to pursue a Master of Divinity degree, and after graduating in May 2018, I joined the pastoral team at SJCAC. I am deeply grateful to God for blessing us with two children, Andrew and Ella. I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing the guitar and singing. I love to eat durian very much!

I majored in Chinese Language and Literature at Liaoning University in China; after coming to the United States, I earned a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Christian Witness Theological Seminary.
