I was born in northeast China and received Jesus as my personal Savior at the age of 12. My parents were ministers and dedicated me to God at an early age, hoping that I would serve the Lord. Over time, I also felt God’s calling and guidance to go into full-time ministry. I was convinced one day when I read 1 Corinthians 9:16: “I have no reason to boast in preaching the gospel, for I have no choice but to do it. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.” I met my wife Kuan while we were in seminary together. We started to serve in our home church, bible school, and missionary organizations teaching, pastoring, church planting, and training. In 2016, I came to the United States to finish my M.Div.. In May 2018, I joined SJCAC as an intern. I am happily married with two children: Andrew and Ella. I enjoy reading, traveling, playing guitar, and singing. Lastly, I like eating durian very much!
I received a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature, and pursuing M.Div. and a D.Min from Christian Witness Theological Seminary.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters
