Certificate in Christian Ministry

This is a basic certificate level training program, offered by A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary in the Chinese language. It moves an individual towards ministry licensure requirements within the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

 

This program meets the minimum 30 credit educational requirement of the Manual of the Christian & Missionary Alliance from an accredited institution.

Understanding the Program

Chinese medium: A special program offered fully in Mandarin Chinese.

 

Requirements for Admission: Provide an academic background and an official interview. English or TOEFL scores are not required. 

C&MA Licensing: This program meets the minimum 30-credit educational requirement of the Manual of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Licensing within the C&MA is supervised by each local district. Please consult your district office for additional information regarding its Licensing, Ordination & Consecration Committee protocols and requirements. 

Course Schedule: Courses are offered in the Fall (early September) and Spring (January) semesters.

Leading to the M.A. degree at Tozer: This 30-credit Certificate can be transferred towards the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership degree at Tozer Theological Seminary.

    • High-school graduates or degree holders

    • Baptized born-again Christians

    • Age 21 or above

    • Apply online: Provide a Christian Statement;

    • Submit recommendations: One academic recommendation and one spiritual recommendation.

    • Provide official transcripts for all college coursework.

  • The seminary tuition rate is $500 per credit. Financial aid may be available. The church will cover 25%. The seminary will donate 25% and the Chinese Association will donate 25%. This reduces your costs to 25%.
