Youth News: Sep. 27, 2019
Thursday July 2nd, 2020This morning in our Time with Abba, I received that I must leave Babylon to pursue what is God’s BEST, not what is the World’s best. Often times we have a conflict of interest when we encounter God. God desires us to be free from slavery and captivity calling us to cut off our old selves, but we often catch ourselves thinking: “O, that should be fine to keep this idol”, “This secret sin doesn’t hurt anyone”, OR “I’m comfortable now, I don’t need to change”. God is calling us into a new, fresh, life-giving freedom IF we will be willing to submit our whole selves to Him.
Bless you SJCAC Youth Family to surrender our whole life back to Him who is worthy, trust-worthy, and faithful to His people.
Blessings,
Pastor David Kao

Bring Your Bible to School Day & The Life Book
Oct. 3, 2019 (Thursday)
On Bring Your Bible to School Day, students across the nation will celebrate religious freedom and share God’s love with their friends. Participation is voluntary and student-directed—meaning it’s completely up to students, Christian clubs and youth groups. Conversation starters and free guides are available at:
https://www.bringyourbible.org/
SJCAC Youth Ministry wants to encourage students to give the gift of The Good News in the form of ‘The Life Book’. The mission of The Life Book is to put the Gospel in the hands of every teenager in America by having students giving students the gift of The Gospel.
We have free copies of The Life Book and they will be available to all youth to give away. Tomorrow at E2, pick up as many copies as you plan to give away. Read it together with your friends!
