Youth News: Sep. 19, 2019
Thursday July 2nd, 2020Hi Youth,
Thank you all for praying for Pastor David. He is resting at home and recovering for the upcoming Missions Conference. This week, as we attend Missions Conference, I want to share with you all Isaiah 30:22-23:
“22 Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. You will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, “Be gone!”
23 And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous…”
I encourage you to read more from Isaiah 30:18-33. The underlying theme for this passage is The Lord Will Be Gracious. Here we read the changes from God in remembering God in the mist of their affliction. God is gracious and in this, we know that God will provide the rain of plenty for His people when they leave their ways and choose Him. Take time today to lay down any idols that may be overlaid with worldly values in your heart. That way your heart can be prepared for the rain of nourishment to come from your Heavenly Father.
Blessings,
Sam
