Youth News: Oct. 31, 2019

Hi Youth Family,

Today is Halloween, popularized as a day where people celebrate the dead. I want to declare to you, Youth Family, that Jesus has died and has risen! In the same way Jesus has risen, we too have the same power to rise up from our own “deadness”. In today’s Time with Abba Passage;

“Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil — and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.” (Hebrews 2:14-15)

God humbled himself by coming down from heaven to be with us as a human, through Jesus Christ. And because of his death and resurrection, the power of death has no power over us. The power of Satan has no power over us, the spirit of Halloween has no power over God’s people. We are set free.

SJCAC Youth family, I bless you to LIVE FREE from the slavery of fear, death or anxiety. Call on the name of Jesus Christ who has already died for us so that we don’t have to be live enslaved, but FREE.
