Youth News: Oct. 3, 2019
Thursday July 2nd, 2020Please continue to uplift Auntie Dorcas in your prayers. She was in a pretty bad car accident Monday morning. She is currently resting at home and thankfully no broken bones or severe injuries.
From talking with Auntie Dorcas, she is in good spirits and is stern in giving Abba praises despite what had happened. In Psalm 108:1-5, King David writes this,
God, my heart feels secure.
I will sing and make music to you with all my heart.
2 Harp and lyre, wake up!
I want to sing and make music before the sun rises.
3 Lord, I will praise you among the nations.
I will sing about you among the people of the earth.
4 Great is your love. It is higher than the heavens.
Your truth reaches to the skies.
5 God, may you be honored above the heavens.
Let your glory be over the whole earth. (NIRV)
In today’s TWA, I was reminded of a simple task. To give praises to our Lord. I know many of us don’t think we have a good singing voice and in fact many of us are embarrassed to sing in public. However, did you know that singing/worshiping is one of the activities that we get to do here on earth as in heaven? My charge for you all today, is to dedicate a time to worship Him from the bottom of your heart. Set time to worship Him and to invest in something worthwhile.
Blessings,
Sam
