Hi Youth,

From today’s TWA, I found it hard to pick one specific part from the New Testament to share with you all. Take time to read 2 Timothy y’all! What I want to share with you comes from 2 Timothy 3:16-17:

“God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing.”

In this letter, Paul writes to Timothy in giving him a command. To understand the importance of God’s Word and it’s value. The scripture is God-breathed and through the Word we are:

  • Made whole again
  • Trained in doing what is right
  • Prepared in doing every good thing

Youth, if you’re not doing well and find it difficult in understanding what is right, I implore you to ask God for direction and help. You matter to God and He wants to build you up in being whole again.

E2 Care Group Dinner

Care Groups are starting this week with a dinner in the sanctuary starting at 6:30pm on Saturday, Oct. 26th at E2!
“BYO”… (Bring Your Own) Refillable Water Bottle/Cup + $2 to cover your dinner.

Youth Baptism Class
Oct. 27, Sunday, 1:00pm-2:45pm

Sign up below if you are interested in learning more about baptism or if you’d like to get baptized at the Dec. 22nd Baptismal Service. 

Baptism classes will be held in the Youth Wing on 10/27, 11/10, 11/24, 12/1. Please note: attendance is mandatory for every class.

Convoy of Hope Post-event Youth Hangout
Nov. 2, Saturday, 4pm

Come hangout in the Youth Wing, after the Convoy of Hope flyer distribution. Students can bring their homework and hangout together. Pizza provided!

Mexico STM Summer 2020
Information Meeting, Nov. 10

Plans are starting for the annual short term mission (STM) to Mexico. Come to the Info meeting on Sun., Nov. 10th during 2nd hour service (11:20am-12:40pm) in the Youth Wing to find out about the NEW opportunities for this trip. Contact Pastor David if you have questions.
