I feel like the clock has been moving quicker and quicker everyday since I’ve recovered from my sickness. As I am managing my time, I pray each day and constantly consider how I spend my day to day, reflecting on how my day is worthy of who God is calling me to become.
This morning in our Time with Abba, the Apostle Paul is encouraging us in 1 Thessalonians to “live lives worthy of God” (1 Thess. 2:12). What does this mean? What does it look like to live a life worthy of God? What is our standard we must hold? I believe that the key is found in the final two verses:
- Rely on the Lord to increase our love for each other and others (3:12)
- Rely on the Lord to strengthen our hearts to pursue His purposes for you (3:13)
Please pray with me:
Holy Spirit, come fill my life to overflow, so that I may love others the same way you love me. Father, remind me of your love, that I might not forget to pursue my life with integrity of what you have done in and for me on the Cross.
May my day and life be worthy as worship to you. Amen

The Life Book
Hey Ya’ll, this Saturday, we will bring out the LIFE Books at the end of E2 by the back table. Please pick up one or more (FREE) and pass along to friends. Here’s a little taste of what’s in the book.
The Life Book contains a short recap of the Old Testament, the entire Gospel of Mark (ESV), scriptural answers to issues teens face, and an opportunity to trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Each one of us can be involved with this approach to evangelism and simply give The Life Book as a gift to our peers and trust God’s promise in Isaiah 55:11 –
“So will my word be that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish that which I purpose, and will succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
