Youth News: Mar. 5, 2020
Thursday July 2nd, 2020Hello Youth Family,
This week is our Church’s Deeper Life Conference! Reverend Kelvin Walker will be challenging our Church community to go deeper in our relationship with God and invite the Holy Spirit to pour down over our Church. So this is my question to you, “Are you Hungry?”, not just for food, but are you hungry for God’s presence? If not, why not?
God has been revealing to me because of our Church’s rich history and rich Sunday teaching, it is very easy for us to not hunger or strive for good Theology or teaching of God’s word, BUT I think that is a wrong heart posture to have. I believe God is drawing our church to hunger for his presence. I urge you, SJCAC Youth family, to prepare your soul to hunger for God’s presence this weekend! Make time and space to have Reverend Kelvin Walker. Action items for yourself:
- Pray for yourself and your family to have a spiritual hunger.
- Pray and meditate on the cross where Jesus died for us.
- Begin worshiping in your own time before the Conference begins.
Blessings,
Pastor David Kao
