Salutations Youth,

It’s good to be back with you all from my trip in Malaysia. As some of you are in Mexicali, some of you are still here in the BAY. In today’s devotional, we learn about Paul and his frustrations with the Jewish people in Acts 18:5-11. Paul is mistreated badly and was opposed by the Jewish crowd, prompting him to say, “God’s judgment against you will be your own fault! Don’t blame me for it! From now on I will go to the gentiles”. NIRV 

At this moment, we learn that Paul had enough of the Jewish crowd and was clearly upset and frustrated:
“One night, the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Keep on speaking. Don’t be silent. I am with you. No one will attack you and harm you. I have many people in this city”. NIRV

God has called each and every one of us to be a living testament to the truth of who Jesus is and to spread the gospel and be His messengers. However, not everyone we encounter will appreciate what the Truth entails. In fact, we are most likely going to face resentment in this time and age. Take time to remember that God has sent His Holy Spirit to guide us in our everyday walk. No matter what we are asked to do, God will be with us always.
