Hello Youth Family!

Today as I read the news or scroll through Facebook, Instagram… I sense that EVERYONE has an opinion on everything from masks, how government, on black lives matter movement. There is SO much division and I sense that it has trickled down into our fellowships and families as well.

In today’s Time with Abba, we read this passage from Romans about “submission to authorities”. In v10 Paul writes: “Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” What would happen if we not only submit to our authorities BUT also submit to one another in love. Choosing to love, listen and do right by the other person instead of inserting our own righteousness and opinions. What Would Jesus do?

Where is one area in your life (personal) where we see division?

How can you insert Love into that situation?

Torchbearer News

We want to give a big “THANK YOU!” to all our Torchbearers. Despite the sudden pandemic, they steadily served out of their love for the Lord and our youth. You may not have seen them up on stage, but they were working hard backstage.

Take some time to thank and encourage both our current and new Torchbearers! Let them know that you appreciate and support them.

E2 This Saturday…

Did you know that where you are is where you represent Jesus? This Saturday Sam will share and teach on the opportunity that we get to have within the community we are placed in. But to get there, we need to reflect on our own welfare first. Come join in our fellowship and see you then!

Sam’s Club

Mentorship is one of the key aspects of becoming a man. Why should all young men have a mentor? How do you find a mentor or be a mentor? What qualities should a mentor have?

In next week’s Sam’s Club, we will be discussing all those questions and more!
