Hi Youth Family,
The Book of Revelation has always been an intensely visual book describing the revelation of Jesus Christ. Today in our Time with Abba, we follow the author through his vision and see the 24 thrones of the elders, crowns on the elder’s heads and the four different creatures.
“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God, the Almighty,
who was, who is, and who is coming.”
John’s sight then sets on the 24 elders who have been described as falling to their knees from their own throne and casting down their crowns in the worship of God.
This challenged me to ponder about us and our Church. How many of us are still “worshiping” God while sitting on our thrones and keeping our own crowns on top of our head? What does your throne signify in our life? What is your crown? What does it mean to abandon these things to worship God?
I bless you, Youth Family, to receive a fresh revelation of Jesus as we celebrate the Christmas season, so that you too will cry out Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty!
